OF HISTORY
Since 1949, fine fabrics to touch and love
Tessitura Pardi was established in 1949 in Montefalco, an enchanting medieval town located on a hill 473 meters high, on the edge of the Umbrian valley. Here the three Pardi brothers: Tito, Mario and Pietro began their business activity that continues to this day, based on love for craftsmanship and for the territory. The items produced by Tessitura Pardi tell stories of beauty and traditions, with colours and design that are inspired by the places and the landscapes of the Umbrian socio – cultural context. Every product is the result of work carried out with passion and mastery by skilled craftsmen who transform the natural linen and cotton fibres into unique creations. The numerous articles will accompany the key moments of your family life and will give a touch of elegance and refined beauty to the rooms of your home. The dining room , with the tablecloths woven with always new and original designs and a wide range of colours, will diffuse light and harmony. The bedroom with its sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads and cushions will make resting comfortable and waking up more serene. The bathroom will give your day a more pleasant start thanks to the light caress of a beautiful and enveloping bath towel. Pardi family’s commitment goes beyond the production of high quality fabrics: it is a natural vocation to preserve and promote Italian textile expertise, which contributes to keeping alive an important part of our country’s cultural heritage.
EXCELLENT
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Fabrics Made in Italy: timeless quality and style
The fabrics are made by using the natural linen and cotton fibres and are the result of the skilful activity of competent craftsmen, absorbed in the typical jacquard workmanship by shuttle power looms. Sobriety is combined with the elegance and the accuracy of the jacquard processing, with the wise choice of the designs that are inspired by different cultural and artistic movements, ranging from the ornaments of the figurative arts of ancient Mediterranean civilizations to the geometrical patterns of the Umbrian folk tradition. Innovation always matches tradition and aims at combining culture with the tastes and the trends of the third millennium. The articles made by Tessitura Pardi suit the style of a country house, as well as that of a modern house and also that of a more traditional house. The width of the fabrics ranges from cm 180 up to cm 380 and custom made articles are available. The company offers customized work. The reference market includes both Italy and abroad.
